In the midst of increasing tension between India and Pakistan, Turkey's intelligence chief has visited Pakistan's Air Force headquarters. The tour has taken place at a time when Pakistan's tension with India is highest. The visit was to discuss geo-strategic matters, joint defence initiatives and counter-terrorism collaboration, the reports added. The development marks the increasing military cooperation between the two nations in the midst of increased tensions between Pakistan and India.

The constant development is ongoing in the wake of India-Pakistan tension. As India makes preparations to retaliate in an appropriate manner in response to the Pahalgam attack, the unrest in Pakistan has already begun rising. A high-level Turkish delegation led by Turkey's General Staff Intelligence Chief Lieutenant General Yasser Kadioglu visited the Pakistan Air Force Headquarters in Islamabad. The trip was focused on boosting co-operation between the two nations on geo-strategic matters, cooperative defence ventures and counter-terrorism, satellite programmes and imagery intelligence, the reports stated.

On Sunday, Turkey sent a shipment of weapons to Pakistan, which it later disapproved of, according to reports.Increasing friendship between Pakistan and Turkey. The visit of the Turkish delegation to Pakistan during a time of tension is depicting the extent of the friendship of the two nations. The visit at a moment when Pakistan is apprehensive about war indicates that between Turkey and Pakistan, things can go beyond just trade or religious beliefs to military alliances.

Pakistan is necessary to Turkey for combating India

The Pakistan army is not strong enough to mess with India alone. Pakistan looks to its foreign allies whenever it anticipates an Indian attack. Meanwhile, it has also been made clear from India that wherever the Pahalgam attack terrorists are, they will be hunted and eliminated.

Indian Army gets free hand

Following the strike on Pahalgam on April 22, the Government of India has been having prolonged meetings. At the same time, the Indian Army also carried out operations in Kashmir and it is possible for such operations to be expanded from beyond the line of control too. On Tuesday, the government of India gave the army free hands and now it is allowed to attack Pakistan at will and need not even ask the government for permission regarding it.
